Hoshitori Results for Aki 2007, Day 3The scoring is down today to a lowly 54 points on average as
three ozeki as well as Roho and Kisenosato lost, making five
losses among the eight most popular selections.
Sukubidubidu easily holds onto first place with 71 points as
Kintaro drops to fourth place with 66 points. Marimo jumped
to second place with 79 points, and Hakaso has the second
high score in three days to move back up to joint second
place with 80 points.
It's an exciting shukun-sho competition with all the extra
points so far, and specialist Jejima is leading ahead of
Kakushoyama. Hidariashiyama's gino-sho lead was short-lived
as he already is back at 6-9, so Shabodo is the new leader
with the 73 place jump on day 2.
