Hoshitori Results for Aki 2007, Day 2Scoring is down from day 1 despite the yokozuna won today. Some
surprises in the maegashira ranks were costing enough points to
drop the average to 62 point, still not a bad score.
The day 1 leaders mostly had to take a fall today, except Kintaro
who rose from fourth to second with 69 points. Sukubidubidu also
did well, going from sixth to first with 71 points. Konizan had
the best score today with 90 points, joining Kintaro in second.
Hidariashiyama had 87 points, good to take the gino-sho lead
by a wide margin with the 91 place upward move. Jejima and
Kakushoyama are the early shukun-sho leaders with 37 extra
points.
